The Magic Club is a brand new youth facility opened in March 2018. It was developed to provide a space to inspire the futures for young people in Claremont, Blackpool.

We are recruiting for an Interim Chief Executive Officer to help the board of trustees develop the organisation at this very crucial stage.

As our Interim Chief Executive your day might include:
 Managing payment for a delivery of toilet roll and keeping an eye on our budget lines.
 Supporting a volunteer to deliver a presentation to a new potential partner.
 Writing a funding bid to deliver holiday activity.
 Playing connect4 with young people.
 Checking outcomes from our service providers against our agreements.
 Giving a local business a tour of our facility.
 Creating a performance report for the board.

This is a new post within a new organisation, and there is an element of us developing a concrete role description together. However, we do know this will not be your traditional CEO role, with no other directly employed staff, you will have to be able to turn your hand to everything and be able to learn new skills as you go.

This is a part time post based on £30,000pa. 2 days per week for approx. 39 weeks OR 3 days per week for approx. 25 weeks. However, we can be flexible for the right candidate. We hope to secure further funding for this role to become full time for a longer contract term. We might need your help to do this.
