Position: Revoelution Lead Youth Worker
Salary: £12.00 per hour, 20 hrs per week.

Revoelution (www.revoelution.org.uk) is the resident-led Big Local Partnership in Revoe. It has appointed Blackpool FC Community Trust (BFCCT) to act as its ‘locally trusted organisation’ for legal purposes of employing staff and managing contracts. The CommunityTrust is the charitable arm of Blackpool FC, delivered as a separate organisation, with a focus on engaging, developing, inspiring and supporting the people of Blackpool to live better lives.

The Revoelution Lead Youth worker will lead on the delivery of youth work activity for young people aged 7-19 in the Revoelution area, including leading a team including a sessional youth worker and volunteers as required.
The role will involve assisting with the delivery of the Revoelution Plan (2018-2019) by organising and co-ordinating a range of activities for young people and ensuring that the services provided raise the aspirations, confidence and life skills of young participants. This will include a programme of issue-based developmental group work. Maintaining effective working links with the local College, school and youth organisations will be a key element of the role.
