Let the Festive Season begin!
It’s almost time for the annual Christmas Market at Marine Hall, Fleetwood and this year it’s even bigger than ever!
Taking place on Sunday 17 November, from 10am to 4pm, entry is free and with over 80 exhibitors it’s perfect for picking up all your festive food, drink and gifts.
Held outdoors along the colonnade and inside the beautiful ballroom and event rooms, the market will be filled with traditional handmade gifts, unique craft items, delicious hot street food and cold food and drink – everything you need for your Christmas celebrations!
The best of local independent traders will be selling gifts for all the family with individual handcrafted items and one of a kind pieces. Why not treat yourself to a glass of mulled wine while you browse the stalls and stock up on tasty treats for Christmas time. Stock up for Christmas day, fill up your cheeseboard, grab some tasty chutney and stock up on wines, ciders and flavoured spirits. You can also enjoy some delicious hot food for lunch from one of the street food vendors outside. Including a traditional hog roast, Mexican street food, hot churros and many more!
There’s plenty for children to enjoy too including a meet and greet with our Panto stars for a photo opportunity. There will be plenty of activities along with a crafts and an activity station with crafts including sand art and face painting! Of course no trip to the market would be complete without a trip to see Santa in his grotto for only £2.50 including a gift! New for this year we also have a chance for little ones to feed alpacas along with donkey rides!
Plus the fabulous Thornton Cleveleys Brass Band will be performing throughout the day with music to get everyone in the Christmas spirit at 12pm, 1.30pm and 3pm. We will be joined by Twelve Restaurant who will also be demonstrating live cooking classes on stage at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm throughout the day. There will also be talks throughout the day by Sand grown Sprits at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 3.30pm.
Julia Robinson Commercial manager for the Wyre Theatres comments, “Marine Hall’s Christmas Market has lots of new stalls, as well as many familiar faces at this year’s event so there will be plenty for everyone to enjoy of all ages. The event seems to be growing every year and offering a wider variety. This free event is the perfect festive family market and really kick starts the Christmas season.”
