Level 3 Diploma
This qualification provides JNC recognised Youth Support Worker status and qualification. It is aimed at people who have a role which requires frontline management or responsibility within a youth work provision. For instance managing or facilitating a youth project, coordinating a project or managing youth work volunteers or staff. This course is for you if you wish to develop your skills for leading work with young people in a youth work setting and specialising in a particular area of work.
As well as classroom days, and online training, you are required to work/volunteer 80 hours (in total) in a youth work setting to complete the course.
As part of the assessment for this course you will be required to develop a 20 hour youth provision, we ask that this can be part of your current role and is work based. It may be a Summer project or residential or just part of a project that you deliver.
Learners who achieve this qualification can progress to associated FE/HE programmes or employment in the sector.
All courses will start before the end of March and will be a mix of online learning and classroom sessions (9 days).
