Support Worker – Supported Living – St Anne’s – OF01
Full Time (35 hours) and Part Time (16 hours) Permanent
Salary £9.01 per hour

The people we support in our services enjoy being active and getting out in the community, walking, swimming and playing football. They are happy to try new activities and would like someone proactive in finding new opportunities available in the local area and supporting them in getting out and about. The people we support have mobility cars so drivers would be great although it is not essential. The people we support would like someone who inspires them and encourages their independence. They share a love of watching Sci-Fi films and old comedy movies and inhouse activities, especially cooking, baking and art. They also love holidaying in the UK and abroad so may need support on these trips. The ideal candidate would be friendly, helpful, patient and a good listener.

You’ll have responsibility for providing support with all aspects of day-to-day living, enabling the people we support to make their own decisions and enjoy the best possible quality of life. You’ll be encouraging and helping them participate in the local community, pursuing all possible opportunities to join local groups.


Key responsibilities:
 Ensuring a quality service is maintained to reflect the expectations of our Organisation, the people we support and their friends and families.
 Ensuring that the people we support have a safe, appropriate and comfortable living environment.
 Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including families and social services.
 Ensuring support plans and other relevant information are followed, including Health and Safety requirements.
 Working flexibly within the service, including night and week-end duties.
 Preserving the dignity of the people we support at all times.
