Bispham CastAways are holding their first family Christmas pantomime in their new home at Holy Family RC Church Hall (Links Road, FY1 2RU) on the 17th and 18th of December and tickets are now on sale.

The Beauty Sleeping by Peter Nuttall follows Queen Britney and King Jeff as they long to have an heir to their throne and use their fortune telling goblin servant to look into the future.  Meanwhile, poor Mother Droopy’s husband has left her penniless and she always wanted a baby too.  Cue the good witch of the North, Betty, who is handing out baby spells but is worried about the bad witch of the South, Hogben, as she’s cursing all the new born babies in Blackpool!  9 months later and Mother Droopy has twin sons, who aren’t the sharpest knives in the drawer, and the King and Queen have the most kind and beautiful daughter, Princess Beauty.  Following being snubbed by the King and Queen, Hogben, helped by her feral talking cat, comes up with a dastardly plan to put the Princess to sleep on her 16th birthday.

Will Hogben’s plan succeed?

Can a Prince be found to save the day or will Mother Droopy’s sons have a lovely Christmas with the Princess they adore?  And what exactly are foot jumpers?

Join Bispham CastAways for a fun filled, laugh out loud journey that will have you cheering, booing, shouting, dancing in the aisle and yodelling!
